The marginal decline in Singapore’s private residential prices of 1.1% in Q2 points to a very resilient real estate market. Although analysts predicts that prices could drop further to around 5% this year, they are also of the view that this decline will not be of the same magnitude (25%) as we had seen during 2009 global financial crisis with Government’s stimulus package and support during the pandemic.
